These are amazing! I fry the chicken wings and toss them in the easy special sauce. You can have these ready in 30 minutes. See full recipe below in description.
Ingredients:
10 to 25 wing portions
1 clove garlic
1 small shallot
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
4 Tablespoons sugar
4 Tablespoons fish sauce
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup plain flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
Vegetable oil for frying

Cook your garlic and shallot in one Tablespoon vegetable oil, then put into your bowl you are using for the sauce.
Add the fish sauce, sugar and lemon to make the sauce.

If you only make 10 or 12 wing portions, the 2 Tablespoons of everything is enough.
Otherwise go ahead and make the 4 Tablespoon recipe.

Mix your flour and cornstarch and dredge your chicken pieces.
Heat your oil to 350F and fry your wing portions for 11 to 13 minutes a few at a time.

Toss in your sauce and serve immediately!

I used the whole bottle of vegetable oil (48oz) and only a few at a time, so they only took 10 minutes to cook.
If you fry more at a time they will take longer to cook because you will lower your oil temperature and they could come out more greasy.

I tested this recipe the first time by just pan frying the wings with nothing on them (no flour) in just a little oil.... around 1/4 cup and they were smaller wings than what I had in this video. I did not need as much sauce as I used in the video and they were good, but the video wings are better and crispy.
