We hiked Uneva Peak last October and really enjoyed it. I have always wanted to come back for some backcountry skiing in winter. After a coupe of recent snow storms, we headed out to Vail Pass to try to catch some fresh powder. I skinned up just below the ridge of Uneva Peak around 12,060’, and skied down Big Bowl and 100 Turns of Fun. The conditions were pretty decent, and I was glad to finally enjoy some decent skiing at the end of an otherwise bad winter season. We also checked out nearby Booth Falls in the afternoon which was flowing pretty strong
