On 5/31/2025 the Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park opened for the season. We took the opportunity of a nice weather window to drive up to the Alpine Visitor Center, and took in the scenery along the way. We then did a short hike up to the Tombstone Ridge via the Ute Trail. The whole hike stays above 11,400ft, and one is greeted with the gorgeous views of the Divide and Glacier Gorge throughout this hike. We also did a little scrambling on top of the ridge. A fun and relaxing day in the Park. Total stats: 4.2miles with 450ft elevation gain
