We hiked to the top of Mt Visevnik, a 2050m (6725ft) peak in the Julian Alps about 30 min drive from the tourist town of Bled, Slovenia. There was still quite a bit of snow left on the slope before the ridge, and we’re glad we brought our spikes/poles for this trip. The views along the summit ridge and beyond were breathtaking on a gorgeous blue bird day. Good intro peak to the Julian Alps.
