Emerald Lake Trail is one of the most popular trails in Rocky Mountain National Park and can be done year around. After reaching Emerald Lake, I switched to winter climbing gear and went further up Tyndall Gorge to check out nearby couloirs, and then proceeded to glissade back down to the lake. Total stats: 4.3 miles with 1300ft elevation gain
