We are back at our local Costco, and if you have been following the channel, you know we are always on the hunt for the best gaming deals. Today, we stumbled upon something absolutely legendary. If you are looking to build your library for the new Nintendo hardware without breaking the bank, you need to head to your local warehouse immediately.
The Costco Goldmine - This Is Nuts!
I was just here about two weeks ago, and many of these titles were sitting at a standard "deal" price of $49.99. But today? The pricing has plummeted. We are seeing major Nintendo Switch 2 releases—games that typically retail between $70 and $80—marked down to just $29.97. In the world of Costco pricing, that ".97" ending is the magic signal that these items are on clearance and once they are gone, they are gone for good.
Here is a look at what we found on the shelves:
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond: This was the absolute "must-buy" of the trip. For 30 bucks, this is officially coming home with me. I’ve been waiting to dive into Samus’s latest adventure, and at this price point, it’s an unbeatable value for a premium Nintendo title.
Kirby Air Ride 2: Another heavy hitter sitting at the $29.97 mark. If you’re a fan of the pink puffball, this is a steal.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A: While I’ve mentioned before that I’m not the biggest Pokémon fan, seeing a mainline entry for $29.97 is almost unheard of this early in the console's lifecycle.
Hardware & Accessories: It wasn't just the games! We spotted a PowerA controller and case bundle for just $19.97. While the official Joy-Cons are still holding steady at $89.99, these third-party bundles are perfect for anyone needing extra gear on a budget.
One of the best parts of the Costco experience? I actually got to keep the giant cardboard display card! The staff didn't even ask for it back, which makes for a great piece of "shelf candy" for the game room.

After the success at Costco, we made a quick stop at our local Walmart to see if the "Rollback" luck continued—and it did. We managed to find WWE 2K25 for only $15.
Now, full disclosure: this is the "physical" version that comes in a standard game case, but it contains a digital game key card rather than a plastic cartridge. While I am a massive advocate for physical media and having that actual cartridge for long-term ownership, you cannot argue with the math here. Getting a game key inside a physical case for $15 is still significantly cheaper than buying the game directly through the digital eShop. If you’re looking to get your wrestling fix on the go, make sure to check your local electronics department. As always with Walmart deals, your mileage may vary!
