We are taking a road trip to the closest beach to Phnom Penh - no it's not in Sihanoukville or Kep. We rented a motorcycle and are driving the newly paved roads of Koh Kong. We're staying at unique resort called Happiness Beach Resort. The resort built a elevated platform that circles a mangrove island. Of course we'll explore the mangroves, swim in the ocean, interact with the locals, eat and drink at a seaside cabana, and visit Nesat Beach - which just might be the closest beach to Phnom Penh.
