Here is how to summon and fight raid bosses using the Ritual Summoning Altar in Palworld 1.0.
Raid bosses are some of the most dangerous enemies in Palworld, but defeating them is also one of the best ways to obtain Ancient Technology Cores. You will need a large number of these cores for advanced endgame buildings, equipment, and technology.
The first step is unlocking the Summoning Altar at Level 33 from the Ancient Technology section of the Technology menu.
You will then need to collect Summoning Slab Fragments while exploring the world. These fragments can be obtained from dungeons, bosses, tablets, and other activities. Once you have collected enough matching fragments, craft them together to create a complete Summoning Slab.
Take the completed slab to your Summoning Altar and interact with it. You will be given the option to summon the raid boss at your base or inside a dedicated raid arena.
I strongly recommend using the arena.
Summoning a raid boss directly at your base allows all your working Pals to help, but it also gives the boss an opportunity to demolish your buildings, production lines, storage, and everything else you spent hours carefully placing.
Using the arena keeps the destruction away from your main base and allows you to focus entirely on the fight instead of repairing half your settlement afterward.
Once inside the arena, summon as many of your strongest Pals as possible. Higher-level Pals with powerful combat abilities will give you a much better chance of defeating the boss before your army is wiped out.
The raid has two possible endings. Either you defeat the boss and receive the rewards, or your entire Pal army gets knocked out, forcing you to revive everyone while receiving nothing for the attempt.
