We headed to Rothwell parkrun as Rob hadn't run here before. It was my 4th time visiting and I had forgotten how lovely this parkrun is! We visited on the perfect day with the sun shining and the flowers in bloom. The only thing I could have hoped for on top of what we got would have been a bit more sleep!

The course here has a rude looking Strava trace which did actually make me giggle this time although it hasn't in the past when people have brought this up. This parkrun is relatively flat for a parkrun in Leeds and the run itself has a super lovely feel. Springhead Park has all the facilities you could hope for which adds to this being a fantastic parkrun. We had such a lovely time running here at Rothwell parkrun.

Huge thanks to the wonderful volunteer team for a brilliant parkrun morning, especially the marshal with the water spray! What a fantastic idea!
