I absolutely love fancy dress, so when I heard that Middleton Woods were having an End of Summer Beach Party to celebrate then I knew exactly where we were heading!

It turns out that trying to run carrying a load of inflatables is actually quite a challenge, albeit very fun! We had such a wonderful time celebrating with this incredible group of people. Middleton Woods parkrun has such a lovely community feel and they also really love an excuse to dress up.

I definitely recommend a visit, especially if it is a week these guys are celebrating something! And if you do visit then try to take your bike along as the cycling facilities here are immense, and they're all free!
