In what started as a box ticking exercise we headed over to Barton-upon-Humber to run Baysgarth Park parkrun, in North Lincolnshire, to complete all parkruns in the 'Yorkshire and The Humber' region.
Almost as soon as we arrived then I fell in love with this parkrun. The community was incredible and the course is so cleverly designed... despite it taking me AGES to get my head around it! Running around the wiggles that head uphill and downhill made me feel like a child, and it's the sort of course that you want to run around shouting "Weeeeeeeeeeeee" with your arms out, just having fun! If you're having a fast run then it's a relatively tough course despite being 100% on tarmac.
I can't thank the team enough for their fantastic welcome and for an awesome morning. It's definitely worth visiting this brilliant parkrun.
