Every year as far back as I can remember, I try to plant at least 1 or 2 new things in the garden. Sometimes it might be a new variety of something else because I am always trying to improve on taste, volume, or how well something grows. Sometimes it might be something I have never grown. Sometimes I am just expanding the number of things I grow that are perennial and not annuals so they pay for themselves over and beyond.
I have a list of things I would love to try to grow, i.e. skirret, Jerusalem artichokes, egyptian walking onions, american groundnut, lambs quarter, cherokee purple tomato (if you have seeds or tubers etc and want to donate or sell me some, let me know)
So from that list is these items I ordered from baker creek seeds ... I usually have great results with their seeds, even some that I bought years ago always have great germination by the time I planted them (3 varieties of ground cherries I planted this year plus chinese lanterns are from seeds I bought in 2020 and never got out due to fighting cancer instead - but they all germinated even though they weren't properly stored)
Anywho, let me know if you have tried these and any good or bad about them.
