this is my Superbowl, I've trained & prepared for this moment for 5 years, I'm ready to win!
From the time my first battle with cancer ended in October/November 2020, I immediately returned to working out. I looked horrible, I felt horrible, but I had to do it. You can watch that video here:

I've trained via weightlifting and cardio almost every single day. Then, unexpectedly, I lost my job in June 2024 and my medical insurance with it but honestly it was the best thing to ever happen. I used that ordeal to "humble myself". I got a job that didn't pay near as much, it had medical insurance but that insurance has a lot to be desired, and you know what ... all of that was perfectly fine because what it did have was "forcing me to stay in shape". I started that new job in August 2024 and am still there today. Every shift of that job is a 12-15 mile day which equates to 2,500 - 4,500 calories burned per shift. And its kept me in tip-top shape which is needed for my 2nd SuperBowl. I fell in love with the people I worked with, the owner and management of the company really cares about the employees and only want them to succeed. I also fell in love with the people I got to interact with during my job - two people claim I saved their lives .... I am certain I have affected many other people to a smaller degree but I started to feel like this job was my calling .... its what I was meant to do. I was being placed in the paths of people who needed me the most. Originally when I got the job, I had planned to maybe leave when I was 100% debt free but that happened way back in March and now its almost October and I am still there.....I didn't have to stay on, but I wanted to because of everything I have said about it. Its honestly one of the easiest jobs I have ever done in my life ... and the pay is acceptable for the level of work that you do ... heck, I started joking that I found someone crazy enough to pay me to work out every day lol
I cleared all of my debt ... and since I have a minimal homestead lifestyle, I still had plenty of money in excess every month to continue with improvements around the homestead.
I absolutely knew the day would come that I would have to fight cancer again. The cancer I had is super aggressive, so aggressive I was never considered in remission and still had 3 years minimum to go before that word was even an option.
But here we are today ..... face to face with the biggest challenge of my life ... once again! I need your continued support. Knowing people care about you during cancer treatment really motivates you to win, you have a purpose in life.
I've known this for a few weeks but there are lots of tests and things happening so wanted to have a complete picture of what I am facing .... I am still waiting on some of those details. I will share more details with you soon.
Here are a few of my own motivational quotes I have used a LOT the last 5 years:
Quitters never win!
Failure is never an option (that doesn't mean I don't fail sometimes, it just means I am too stupid to quit trying)
The last time a lot of people asked me how they could help ... and you know, I have this pride thing so that makes it very difficult for me to accept help and I would never ask for help unless I was beyond help and totally out of options (and I don't know that I would then either to be honest) but if you wanted to hit the super button or thanks button and buy me a drink .... that would be much appreciated. I also know most of us are facing difficult financial times, so if you want to help but can't afford to buy me a drink, then hit the like video, subscribe to my channel, and share my videos on social media.
