Let's review each episode of the cult classic Viva Pinata TV series based on the hit game in (mostly)under 90 seconds!
Transcript:
Pester the Pinata is a fetish episode. Pester's latest plan to capture the pinatas is to disguise himself as a baby. ...Oh, for the love of everything... But he's mishandled, and wakes up believing that he actually IS a pinata baby, and it's up to Fergy to raise him the right way. So what exactly was Pester hoping to accomplish? He dresses as a baby, goes up the the pinatas, and then what? How does dressing as a baby factor into getting the candy out of the pinatas? Especially since they immediately see through his disguise! And the rest of the episode is just watching Pester acting like a baby, which should I be disturbed that's quite a common trope in cartoons? Because I'm already disturbed I'm watching it here! The only relief is that they restrain themselves from Pester filling his diaper. Oh, but the ickiness didn't even begin with Pester, as the episode starts with the pinatas whacking each other with sticks while making clearly aroused noises! Franklin even invites everyone to go to town on him! We are literally watching an S&M session, and if Pester didn't interrupt, I'm pretty sure we'd see candy coming out of certain other holes the pinatas have! There is a slightly funny bit at the end, where Pester repeatedly gets hit over the head, continually regaining and losing his memory, but at this point, I just felt dead. The show has had gross moments and even gross plots. But this? This was WRONG! This and the last segment are just fifty flavors of WRONG! If I was a fan casually watching this show, I would take this as a sign they've completely given up and stop watching completely. Because they CANNOT come back from this! Like I said, we eventually DO get some good or at least better episodes. But that's only because most don't get much worse than what I just witnessed! And sadly, this isn't even the worst segment of the show.
