On July 31, 2024. The Bloomer Police Department received information that a male had just stolen Cheese Whiz from a grocery store. The caller stated that he was the owner of the store and was currently following the thief. An officer responded and the store owner was able to point out the suspect walking down the road. The officer then made contact with the suspect who identified himself as Flaxxen. When asked about the cheese, Flaxxen stated that he purchased a box of crackers but did not have enough money to pay for the cheese. The officer then questioned him on what was in his pockets, and he admitted to having marijuana. A search of Flaxxen revealed a small baggie containing a green leafy substance and a pipe with what appeared to be marijuana residue inside. Flaxxen was then transported back to the grocery store while the officer spoke with the owner. It was determined that he would be cited for theft and the store would dispose of the cheese. The officer then gave Flaxxen his citations and offered him a ride back to where he was picked up from, which he declined. The green leafy substance later tested positive for marijuana and had a weight of 1.6 grams. Flaxxen was found guilty for retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of THC after he did not appear in court; he also never paid the $790 in fines.
