On August 27, 2025. An officer from the Sheboygan Falls Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was traveling without its taillights on at night. The officer made contact with the driver (Frenaz) who falsely identified himself as Frederick. The officer recognized Frenaz from prior contacts and dispatch was able to successfully identify him. Frenaz explained that the vehicle belonged to a friend of his and the passenger asked if she could leave to use the bathroom.
Officers noted that Frenaz had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and detected the odor of intoxicants emitting from the vehicle. Frenaz stated that the passenger had been drinking and was asked to exit the vehicle. He agreed to do field sobriety tests but refused to provide a breath sample for a PBT. Officers decided that Frenaz was impaired so they secured him in handcuffs before placing him into a squad car.
The owner of the vehicle arrived on scene and refused to let officers search her car. After confirming that she was the owner, officers allowed her to leave with the passenger and her vehicle. When asked if he would submit to a blood draw, Frenaz refused and asked to speak to a lawyer. Frenaz was then taken to the hospital where officers obtained a search warrant for the blood draw. Frenaz allowed a nurse to take blood samples before he was transported to the Sheboygan Detention Center where he was released to jail staff. Frenaz was found guilty for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration 7th offense. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison and 3 years of extended supervision.
