Last race at Charlotte was quite smooth, quite a few wrecks throughout the race but none of them involved us. Kept it out of trouble & in the end we won by over a full lap after the whole field pitted at some point on the last stint while I saved my right front tire just well enough to last to the finish. Easily our largest margin of victory all season. A huge risk considering at any point in time a caution could've come out to completely unravel my plan. We won so badly that 10th on back ended up finishing 2 laps down. Including our championship rival up to this point who for the first time in the chase thus far has a bad finish with Truex finishing back in 29th. This boosts us up to a 104 point lead in the Sprint Cup standings, back up to over a 2 race lead, as now Dale Jr jumps to 2nd in the standings making him our main rival for the title. And with only 5 races left to go, if we can keep this level of performance up over the next 3 races, we can lock up the championship 2 races early. Now we return to Kansas, another track I always do well at. So we can expect another good points day here. This is the last of what I have recorded at the moment so I’ll have to go record & edit more to get the rest of it up soon. I’m gonna try to have the rest of the season done this month.
