It's that time again, the 8th installment of the Like The Wind race on GT3. The 20 lap race I always do once every 2 years. Things are a bit different this time as almost immediately after I did Like The Wind 7, I deleted & restarted my save file, but then ended up stopping after getting to around 50% and haven't touched it since. So I'm not completely spoiled for car choices like I was with every race before this. So I had to think carefully about what to use with the limited cars I currently have that I can actually win with. I eventually settled on this Nismo 400R which is atleast fast enough to keep up with the Viper in the draft. But even without it I can still retain the lead due to the Viper's more frequent pit stops and stupidity around lap traffic, preventing it from gaining all it's time back when out in clean air. Which in this case was also helped by the Viper constantly overshooting it's pit stall too, forcing it to come around again & slow down earlier the next time to actually make it to it's pit stall to get new tires.
