Gran Turismo 3 - Like The Wind 5MrSmashboy282026-09-21 | Gran Turismo 3 - Like The Wind 5Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 64 - Ayrton Senna Tribute (1/3)MrSmashboy282022-12-26 | This is part 64 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Merry Christmas everyone, today we'll be doing the first of a 3-part series called the Ayrton Senna Tribute. This was actually added in an update sometime around 2015 as it wasn't in the game at launch. But nonetheless, doing it still counts towards your career progress tracker, so we need to do it. This event allows you to relive some of the amazing success of legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna. Whose career, and life, was ultimately cut short in a horrific crash in 1994. He set many lap records during his time in F1 and has a record 65 pole positions. Of course he had many wins to his credit as well.
The first part of the tribute event starts with Senna's childhood days back when he drove go-karts. Senna was always known for his driving mastery in wet weather conditions in F1 and this can be traced back to his karting days where he seriously applied himself towards mastering this. The first of 4 time trials we're doing in this tribute event puts you in Senna's 1980 DAP racing kart, which he drove in the Karting World Championship. The venue is a special version of Silverstone's Stowe Circuit with a special chicane-like section on the back straightaway. Beating the gold target time of 1 minute will gift you Senna's racing kart, while silver gets you Senna's racing suit from that period, and bronze is enough to unlock the next chapter of the tribute event. Obviously, you should aim for all gold as a ton of money can be made from these time trials, much like with the Red Bull X time trials, we're talking millions.Minecraft PS3 Edition (Version 1.00) - Survival Mode - 100 DaysMrSmashboy282022-12-20 | Even though I said I was done doing survival walkthroughs on Minecraft, having did 3 of them in less than as many years, I've wanted to do one with the popular 100 days format for a while now. A trend started by youtuber Luke TheNotable in 2019 and instantly blew up. It's pretty much exactly as it sounds. Just recording yourself in survival Minecraft for 100 in-game days & seeing what you can accomplish in that time frame. My 3 main goals here were to get fully enchanted diamond armor & tools, defeat the Ender Dragon, and get all 29 of the game's original PSN trophies including the platinum. Original as in the ones in the game from it's launch date & not added in later from updates as the game today sits at a grand total of 94 trophies now.
This was one of the best projects I've ever done but also the biggest nightmare from hell to edit it all. In fact, there was so much editing done to it that when I finally finished it last night & went to save it, I couldn't because the project was simply too complex for the editing software to even handle. This is what I get for sticking with Windows Live Movie Maker I guess, I sure as hell pushed it to the limit. So I had to improvise & split the edited clips into 5 videos. Days 1-20, 21-40 and so on. Then start another project file, add all 5 parts together & save the full video that way.
Only slight problem with that is WLMM tends to brighten the overall video on it's own a bit when you save it to your computer, why is beyond me, and this ultimately happened twice. And because I set my in-game gamma setting to the max at 100% just before starting the 100-day challenge, so I can see much better in dark situations like at night & in caves of course. It was already bright to begin with and the video overall is now very bright, especially in the daylight and I apologize for that. I simply had no other options left as WLMM just would not work like I wanted it to last night. I also apologize for one clip not having audio for some unknown reason.
It may not be my longest video ever but it's my most complex one for sure. The whole video was just constant editing. So much so that from start to finish, the whole project took over 6 months to finish, making this my new longest project ever as my old record was just under 4 months. The project officially began June 14th, all the recording was done by July 16th, and from there I've been editing it off & on for the last 5 months. I had over 25 hours of footage to edit down, just trying to find the best bits from each & every single day, ultimately cramming it all into what ended up being a 50-minute video, over 240 clips in total. And because I don't do voice over commentary on my channel, I had to edit in well over 400 annotations to commentate the whole thing. It was hell and I've never in my life been more relieved to be done with a project. I'm definitely never in my life doing something like this again as fun as it all was. Nonetheless, here it is finally. And I really hope you enjoy because I’ve literally poured my heart & soul into this project. Also here’s the world seed below.
Seed: 5994945068094829666Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 63 - GT Kart Championship 125MrSmashboy282022-12-19 | This is part 63 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Now finally done with the Red Bull X challenge, we can get back to the main events again. And since I won a Red Bull 125 Racing Kart from the first karting event, I'm now able to come back and do the one & only event I had to skip over for the International B class as I didn't have a suitable kart to compete with at the time. It's a lot like the "Sunday Kart Jr Races" event we did way back towards the beginning. Except these 3 races are in a championship tournament so no restarting & consistency is key. Of course for a go-kart event, 2 of the 3 tracks are held on small tracks specifically meant for go-karts.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 62 - Sebastian Vettel X ChallengeMrSmashboy282022-12-19 | This is part 62 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Also the 4th and final part of the Red Bull X Challenge. Now for the ultimate challenge, we have the Sebastian Vettel X Challenge. Now we have 3 time trials to do, using the almighty Red Bull X2014 Fan Car. As if the X2014 Standard wasn't fast enough, this car takes fast to a whole new level. As it's name implies, it has a fan installed to draw air in from between the floor of the car and the ground, creating a vacuum effect. This allows the car to create insane amounts of downforce as the car is sucked to the ground & take corners at ungodly speeds. Combine that with the car's direct injection 3-liter V6 twin-turbo engine producing in excess of 1,200 HP and you have a car designed to decimate track records left & right.
For this challenge, F1 driver Sebastian Vettel himself will now join you on the track as you try to keep up with him during three 2-lap timed trials around Monza, Spa, and Suzuka. Getting all gold on these challenges might seem impossible, but back on Gran Turismo 5, they used to be so much worse, this is nothing in comparison. Especially considering you won't get disqualified now for going off track like you would in GT5 which means if you have to, you can cut corners to ensure you get the gold time easily. I tried my best to run it clean here & not cut the track. But just staying on track in a car this fast is naturally a challenge. This is the only event of the 4 that can't be redone over & over for more money. But considering getting gold nets you a million plus in EACH time trial, the money is well worth it. Plus getting the minimum bronze in all 3 of them, as always will earn you your own X2014 Fan Car. Not to mention completing the Red Bull X challenge.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 61 - Red Bull X2014 Standard ChampionshipMrSmashboy282022-12-19 | This is part 61 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Also part 3 of the 4-part Red Bull X Challenge. With the Red Bull X2014 Junior championship cleared, next is the standard championship. Another 5-race tournament, but now in the very fast Red Bull X2014 Standard. Powered by a 2-liter V6 producing in excess of 800 HP. When set up right it can do well over 300+ MPH. It's diffuser also creates a "Venturi Effect" for max downforce. Intended to be the fastest fanless car on the planet. As always finishing the tournament in 3rd or better will win you your own X2014 Standard while also unlocking the final Red Bull X challenge.Gran Turismo 7 - Custom 20 Car Race At Special Stage Route X #20MrSmashboy282022-12-16 | I seriously didn't think I'd ever get another one up before the end of the year after the last one but after 5 long weeks, the longest stint between episodes yet and by a lot, the series continues as episode 20 of our half-hour speed wars is finally here. And for the first time in this series, it's being done on the PS5 version as I finally got a PS5, the same day I actually posted episode 19. Got my save data migrated and from there the grind for more money for more cars continued as normal. That along with the ability to finally sell cars from the last update now in 1.26, something I thought Polyphony would never add, helped to finally get one last episode out for the year. I didn't go crazy & sell many cars, maybe around 10 or so. Considering I have about 350 cars at the moment, 10 isn't many. It's actually really cool how it works as car values will fluctuate up & down, like in the real-life stock market. So if you wanna sell a car, if you wait to sell it at the right time, you can make more money than if you were to have sold it a week earlier. And to think that was in last month's update, not long after I posted episode 19. Update 1.27 just came out today adding 5 more cars, 3 of which are in this race.
The one I used, the $3,000,000 Bugatti Chiron with nearly 1800 HP maxed out, the C8 Corvette, and the Toyota Celica Rally Car. I had a Celica designed to look like the rally car in the past but now with the official rally car in the game, I changed my normal Celica up to have a more original look which is also in this race. All 4 cars added in the 1.26 update are also here, the BMW M2 Competition, Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth, Nissan Silvia K's Aero, and the Red Bull X2019 with the special 25th anniversary edition livery. Other notable cars include the McLaren P1 GTR and the last of the invitation exclusive cars I haven't used yet up to this point including the Aston Martin One-77 and Vulcan. The Mazda RX-8 returns with a 787B engine swap as well as the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X returning with an Escudo engine swap, both are now way faster than before. Also the 2002 Honda NSX Type R and the DeLorean return with the special "Stroke Up S" upgrade, and the Lamborghini Murcielago with the special "Titanium Connecting Rods & Pistons" upgrade. All 3 have more power than when they were last used. And probably the most notable, the $12,000,000 Jaguar XJ13 Race Car is also used here. The most expensive car I've managed to get my hands on up to this point.
Overall, nearly every car in this race is a notable one to mention, that’s how stacked this lineup is. I think it’s one of the best races I’ve ever had here since I started this series in May. It’s another cloudy but bright afternoon for today’s race. I thought after I did the last race that it would be the last one for the year, but I know for sure now that this one will absolutely be the last one for 2022 so as far as this series goes, see you in 2023.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 60 - Red Bull X2014 Junior ChampionshipMrSmashboy282022-12-15 | This is part 60 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Also part 2 of the 4-part Red Bull X Challenge. With the Red Bull go kart event out of the way, next up is the Red Bull X2014 Junior Championship. This time a 5-race tournament using, of course, the Red Bull X2014 Junior. The weakest of the Red Bull X2014 cars with 250 HP from a 2-liter flat four engine. Still far faster than the go karts, also now you have a full suspension and a 6-speed gearbox to work with. It's capable of 200+ MPH if you set it up right as it's very light at just 550 kg, as all of the Red Bull X cars are. The tracks you race on are now much larger of course as the leap is made from a go kart to race car. As before finishing the tournament in 3rd place or better will win you your own X2014 Junior along with unlocking the next event.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 59 - Red Bull Kart MastersMrSmashboy282022-12-15 | This is part 59 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. With the IB events now behind us finally, I've decided to now set my sights towards doing the Red Bull X Challenge. It's unlocked at the same time you unlock the IB events, I don't know why I waited until completing them and unlocking the IA events to do this but I'm doing it now finally. There are 4 events centered around learning to master the different dream formula like machines in the game created by the collaboration with Red Bull & Gran Turismo. And guiding you through all of it is at the time Red Bull F1 driver Sebastian Vettel. The events must be done in order as the next isn't unlocked until the previous event is done. We'll start off part 1 of this 4-part X Challenge in a go kart. The entry level machine where most race car driver's racing careers begin, usually at a very young age. It's a 4-race championship tournament and as your up against nothing but other go-karts, there's almost no margin for error as you can't restart a race in a tournament. Finishing 3rd or better at the end results in winning the car you use for each of the events. Not to mention you can make a lot of money doing these events. And the best part, the first 3 events can be redone again & again for even more money.NASCAR Thunder 2004 - Updated North Carolina Setup (22.421)MrSmashboy282022-12-01 | Both updated Darlington & Homestead setups are up, this is all that's left. My now outdated North Carolina setup struggled to pull off 22.5s with my best lap then being a 22.591, now it's a bit better with my best lap here being a 22.421 averaging 163.29 MPH. Of course I followed the same principle I did with the updated Darlington & Homestead setups and reworked the gears big time to make use of 3rd gear through the turns for better acceleration on corner exit and down the straights. In addition to this, the car also seems to be slightly more controllable than before which is always a plus. If I manage to improve on any more of my setups from last year, I'll post them here in the playlist of course but for now atleast, I'm concluding it once again here. Like I said before, the now outdated versions of my Darlington, Homestead, and North Carolina setups have been removed from my "NASCAR Thunder 2004 - Setups" playlist and have been replaced with all the new updated versions. No reason to have a worse, outdated version on there.NASCAR Thunder 2004 - Updated Homestead-Miami Setup (29.865)MrSmashboy282022-12-01 | My updated Darlington setup is now up, next up is Homestead. This one's big as before in the now outdated version, my best lap was a 30.175, now it's a full 3 tenths better running a 29.865 here averaging 180.81 MPH. But most importantly of course, we're out of the 30s and finally in the 29s bracket which is huge. I wanted to pull off a sub 30 second lap before and was a little upset when I couldn't pull it off with my outdated setup from last year, now I've finally accomplished that. With the gears reworked to use 3rd gear through the corners, the acceleration is noticeably better, and the speeds are a bit higher. It did around maybe 202 MPH before but now it can reach 204-205 MPH at the end of the straights. Look for my updated Rockingham setup next.NASCAR Thunder 2004 - Updated Darlington Setup (27.219)MrSmashboy282022-12-01 | Didn't think I'd find myself coming back to this again but here we are. I briefly revived my "NASCAR Thunder 2004 - Setups" playlist to post updated versions of my Daytona, Talladega, and Tiburon setups earlier this year, and removing the outdated videos from the list in the process. Now I'm doing this again with another 3 tracks, this time for Darlington, Homestead, and Rockingham respectively. With more refining of the setups, particularly the gears getting a massive overhaul. The acceleration through the corners and on corner exit and ultimately down the straightaways at these 3 tracks are better than ever and now lead to some slightly faster lap times.
With Darlington for instance, my best lap in the now outdated video was a 27.4 flat, here I managed nearly 2 tenths better with a 27.219 averaging now an insane 180.66 MPH. The gears for all 3 tracks have been heavily reconfigured so you run 3rd gear through the corners & shift up to 4th on corner exit. But I've especially made my gears for Darlington a bit wonkier as I set it up to actually shift down to 2nd in turns 3-4 where it's much tighter while you stick with 3rd through turns 1-2. So gears 1-2 are insanely long while 3-4 are very short. I swear as stupid as it sounds, this worked quite well. As long as you don't overdrive the corners and take them very carefully, you'll go faster. You may suffer a little bit on a restart but that's about it. Look for my updated Homestead setup next.Burnout - Speed Test CompilationMrSmashboy282022-12-01 | Just got this game earlier this month, the same day I got my PS5. I've wanted to try it out for a while now. I've had Burnout 3: Takedown for the longest time and have always loved it, like almost everyone else does. This was back before EA bought the rights to make the Burnout games from 3 onwards so you know it's as old as it gets. Finally got around to completing this game yesterday and unlocked the free run mode as a result which is basically races but without traffic which is a massive relief as the thick traffic on here makes playing through this game absolutely infuriating as hell, which I guess makes up for it being so short. It also made this video a hell of a lot easier to do.
There's a total of just 6 championships with only 4 of them being 3-race tournaments and the other 2 just being long single races along with 4 face offs to make up the entire game. Face offs are where you unlock your cars at so they're important to do as well. There's only 9 cars total in the game, so this video didn't take very long to make at all. All cars were speed tested with & without boost. To be honest, besides the muscle car as I used it to complete the whole game, this is actually my first time ever driving every other car on here, so this video was quite fun to make. All 9 cars are actually relatively equal speed wise which was kind of surprising, not much of a speed difference overall between all of the cars.

With all the International B events that we can do for the time being now behind us, it's time to get our International A license so we get to working on the IA events.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 57 - GT All Stars ChampionshipMrSmashboy282022-11-30 | This is part 57 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Now that we've finally done all the events we can do for the International B class, atleast for the time being, it's time for the final event. A very notorious high-level event throughout the GT series over the years, the Gran Turismo All Stars Championship, or in this case just GT All Stars for short. A 5-race championship with each race being 5 laps making this the longest video in the walkthrough yet. High performance super cars make up the competition and there's a good blend of real life and GT made tracks to make up the venue list. Once we get this done, we can do the International A license tests and can finally move on to those events. We'll have earned 132 of the 141 stars available for this event class by video's end.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 56 - Historic Racing Car CupMrSmashboy282022-11-26 | This is part 56 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. For the penultimate event for the International B class, we have the Historic Racing Car Cup. A 3-race set aimed at racing cars from 1979 or earlier. Ultimately, like last event, any car from 1979 or earlier can enter. But this event is notorious for the fact that if you don't have an actual racing car from this era at the ready for this event, like I didn't, you will struggle enormously to win here as all of your opponents are in race cars. The levels of downforce generated from those race cars are desperately needed to be competitive here. As much as I would've liked to avoid this, I had to resort to dirty tactics like track cutting and even straight up wrecking other cars to ensure victory. And even then, all 3 races came right down to the wire still.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 55 - Classic Supercar FestivalMrSmashboy282022-11-26 | This is part 55 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Our next event now is called the Classic Supercar Festival. Another 3-race set much like the Supercar Festival we did not too long ago except now aimed at older classic supercars from 1979 or earlier. Ultimately any car from 1979 or earlier can take part regardless if it's classed as a supercar or not as long as it meets the PP limit.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 54 - Fighting MuscleMrSmashboy282022-11-25 | This is part 54 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Our next event now is called Fighting Muscle. Another 3-race set, aimed at the modern-day American muscle cars. Ultimately though, as long as it's an American car, it can enter regardless if it's a muscle or not. Ironically, none of the 3 tracks featured here are American though.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 53 - Midnight RacersMrSmashboy282022-11-25 | This is part 53 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Next event on the to-do list is Midnight Racers. Another 3-races set on nighttime tracks. Basically a more challenging version of the Night Masters event we did a long time ago.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 52 - British LightweightsMrSmashboy282022-11-17 | This is part 52 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Next up is an event called British Lightweights. A 3-race set limited to cars from the UK and that weigh less than 1,200 kilograms. The 3 tracks are of course European oriented.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 51 - Dirt TrialsMrSmashboy282022-11-17 | This is part 51 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Time to get our tires dirty as our next event is called Dirt Trials. Finally doing some off-road racing as we have 3 more races, all set specifically on off-road tracks. Dirt tires must of course be purchased before you can take your car to a rally track. Not all cars in the game are eligible to have dirt or snow tires installed to them so you just have to check the upgrades menu & see. If it's a 4-wheel drive car, there's a good chance you will be able to though. This is obviously the type of car you wanna use due to their traction advantages off-road. If you have a rally car, it probably already has dirt tires as standard & would be your best bet to use it. With off-road racing, you have to do all of your inputs earlier than on tarmac to compensate for having les grip. Turning in the corners, getting on the brakes, and of course just getting used to the fact that your car's gonna slide around every corner you take. A torque distributor comes in very handy for these types of events in helping you get the feel you want from your car on a dirt track.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 50 - Polyphony Digital CupMrSmashboy282022-11-17 | This is part 50 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Next up is probably one of the most famous events in the entire Gran Turismo series, the Polyphony Digital Cup. Named after the developers that have made the GT games since the franchise began in 1997, Polyphony Digital. It's been in every GT game since GT3 although I can't remember off the top of my head if it was in GT7 or not. This event is notorious as you must use a completely stock car to participate. No upgrades of any kind are allowed. It's been like this since the beginning in GT3. Using a race car is obviously out of the question, even if it doesn't have upgrades. Apart from an early oil change for that moderate power boost & changing the tires as those aren't considered upgrades, nothing else is allowed to be done to the car. Which means the only sure way of actually being competitive in this event is picking the right car that's as close to the 500 PP limit as possible.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 49 - 10 Minute RacesMrSmashboy282022-11-17 | This is part 49 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Sorry about the long delay, I'll admit I've been slacking off recently. Trying to pull myself out of this near month-long slump & get back on the grind as we still got the entire second half of the playthrough to do. Way back in part 14 we did a similar event, but the races were only 5 minutes. Now that's doubled to 10, apart from that it's the same as before. No set amount of laps and whatever lap your on when the timer runs out, that will be your last.Minecraft PS4 Edition - How To Make A Cobblestone GeneratorMrSmashboy282022-11-12 | Cobblestone is, alongside wood, probably one of the most important foundational blocks in survival Minecraft as without it, there's no making stone tools and no getting iron ore to progress to better weapons & tools. You can create several different kinds of blocks depending on how water & lava interact with each other. Flowing water that flows onto non-flowing lava creates obsidian, lava that flows down onto water from above creates stone, and flowing water that meets flowing lava creates cobblestone. It's essential that you know this if you wanna make a cobblestone generator to mine all the cobblestone you'll ever need. It's the most important thing you need to know in a sky block world. There are many designs that can be used & built, and some may be more efficient than others. The one shown in the video is a design I've personally come up with & refined myself and is just for a little beginner guide on how to make one.
The slabs I placed aren't a necessity, they're just for convenience & to make the contraption a little safer. You don't have to place an obsidian block where I did either, that's just to make it so you don't have to let off the mine button in between breaking blocks as obsidian takes a long time to mine which the next cobblestone block will appear in your crosshair long before that after mining the previous one. The lava will destroy some cobblestone blocks before you can collect them so your not guaranteed a 100% drop rate, atleast with this design. You just have to make up for it by continuing to mine. The design itself doesn't have to be made of cobblestone like I did here & can be made of any block you want as long as it isn't flammable. You just have to make sure the water & lava are both in a flowing state when they meet and it'll work flawlessly.Gran Turismo 7 - PS5 Share TestMrSmashboy282022-11-12 | Finally managed to get a PS5 after it's been out for pretty much 2 years now. Obviously I'm gonna be using it a ton now as I've got my GT7 save data migrated over to PS5 along with other games I spend a ton of time on like GTA 5 and Minecraft so my PS4 is suddenly going to get a lot less use now. Pretty essential that I learn how the PS5 Share works as it's a little different to how it was on the PS4 and I'm gonna be using it a lot in future videos, so this is a test video. After spending most of yesterday on my new PS5, I think I've gotten the hang of things as far as how to smoothly get around the menus & such, getting the feel for a PS5 controller, and most importantly how to properly record & edit videos.
For this test video, I did the World Touring Championship 700 event at Le Mans. A 30-minute race restricted to cars with 700 performance points or under. This is the race I've grinded for the last 3 months now & still continue to grind behind the scenes to get the money I need to buy & tune up the cars that I've used in my custom 20 car, half-hour speed war races at Special Stage Route X since around episode 14 or so as it pays up to $825,000 each time, just posted the 19th installment yesterday. This is my first time grinding this race on the PS5 version of the game and it looks so much better than it already did on the PS4. The graphics are better, the frame rate is higher, and the motion blur gives you the sensation of speed you'd have never got on the PS4. And of course, the loading speeds are phenomenal compared to the PS4, some things actually load instantly and it's great. This video has 1080p quality, but I think that may also be the reason the video size is roughly twice as big & thus took twice as long to upload compared to the PS4 so I'm gonna try to drop the quality back down to 720p, given there even is a setting to do so hopefully.Gran Turismo 7 - Custom 20 Car Race At Special Stage Route X #19MrSmashboy282022-11-10 | Unexpectedly managed to collect another 20 cars and get this up sooner than expected so episode 19 of our half-hour speed wars is here. 3 of them are repeats from previous races though. Having acquired a special camshaft upgrade for the 2017 Alpine A110 and a special bore up upgrade for the 2015 Peugeot RCZ Line since I last used them, increasing the power on both considerably. Meanwhile the car I was used here, the Honda Beat, has had a Civic engine swapped into it now creating 3 times as much power as before and going a whole 90 MPH faster. The rest of them are new entries though. This lineup features road cars, race cars, VGT cars, and even an invitation exclusive car and it's another nice, sunny afternoon for today's race.
Unfortunately, this is the last installment that will be uploaded relatively quickly, meaning every 2-3 weeks or so like I've been doing. I officially have nothing left to buy apart from the super high-end cars in the legends dealership and just a mere 2 cars from brand central that I'm wanting. And the cheaper of the 2 is priced at $3,000,000. And pretty much all of the cars I have yet to buy from the legends dealership is priced far higher than that with some even being priced at as much as $20,000,000. This will be the only installment going up this month and could possibly even be the last one for the year. Installments from here on out are going to be far more spaced out than before. Probably months at a time now instead of weeks. Obviously this little series can't continue forever, and I think this is the beginning of the end for it as there probably won't be many more installments after this before the series ends. On a positive note though, this will also be my last video on the PS4 version of the game as I’ve now finally got a PS5.Grand Theft Auto 5 - Online Race #79MrSmashboy282022-11-08 | Hard to believe it's been 8 months now since my last online race. Especially considering I've still been playing this game in the meantime having posted a few GTA online related videos last month. I was a level 105 last race, now I'm a level 152 and even hit 153 later last night after this race. My younger cousin on the other hand who was also with me throughout most of it & made a ton of progress himself went from a level 173 to now currently 204. And most of that progress literally came just last month alone. Between finally having my own money/XP income with finally getting my gunrunning, auto shop, clubhouse, and nightclub businesses off the ground, making hundreds of thousands of dollars a day. Plus all the Halloween related bonuses last month like the UFO, pumpkin, and peyote hunting. I made more progress last month alone than I ever did over the last several years combined and I'm more financially secure on here now than ever before.
So for our first race back in a very long time, it's back to my mountain track from races #70-71. But this is an updated 2.0 version from when I ran it last year as the race path has been altered a bit from what it used to be. Of course it's me and my younger cousin as always but for the first time in literally 6 years since the beginning of me posting GTA 5 online races, my older cousin finally joins us once again. He's under a new account from the one he used to have way back in 2016 of course. It's just the 3 of us with F1 cars on a long, twisty mountain track seeing who will come out on top after 8 long minutes. This track's difficult enough to race with just 2 people on it, surely 3 won't make it any easier.Grand Theft Auto 5 - Alien Abduction (Online Free Roam)MrSmashboy282022-10-29 | With it being October obviously, Rockstar added UFOs to the online world for the month to get everyone in the spooky season spirit. Certain UFOs spawn in select locations on certain days on a set schedule and it's been like this for most of the month. You can take a picture of them on your phone & send it to Omega for a $15,000 cash reward for each new UFO you find, plus a $50,000 reward if you managed to snap a picture of the rare UFO variant earlier in the month. The rewards add up quick if you can manage to stay on top of everything. But now with Halloween right around the corner, the alien invasion is kicking into overdrive as now roughly 15 different UFOs will spawn online at night for the rest of the month. Keep in mind there's 26 different UFO locations total so this is a lot. There's now also a camera filter in place when nighttime comes around for a spookier tone along with it now always storming all night, every night online. But most noticeably, it's during these last 3 days of the month that you can now finally get abducted by a UFO. Just find one and walk underneath it's beam & you'll get sucked right up and wake up in a random location in nothing but a pair of the new exclusive UFO boxer shorts you just unlocked for doing this. Apart from that there's nothing special to doing this, just amusing to watch. And you can do this more than once btw. Just make sure you approach a UFO on foot, and not with something you could fly towards it with. Otherwise your power will be temporarily cut off and that UFO will just vanish for the night.Gran Turismo 7 - Custom 20 Car Race At Special Stage Route X #18MrSmashboy282022-10-24 | Didn't think I'd have this one up quite this fast but after close to 2 more weeks, the 18th installment of our half-hour speed wars is here. As the last race started in the day & finished at night, this one will be the opposite. Of all 20 cars in the race, only one is a repeat. Being the Volkswagen Golf Mark I which has of course had an engine swap and a massive power & speed boost since it was last used. All 4 new cars added in the 1.25 update a few days are here as well. The Maserati Merak SS, 2022 Mazda Roadster NR-A, Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R, and the 2018 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT-3. With the most expensive of the 4 only costing $600,000 to get, all 4 cars are easy to obtain. That's probably part of why I was able to get this out quicker than I thought I would. Apart from those, there's plenty of Gr.3, Gr.4, and even Gr.B cars as well. There's at least one car from every Gr. class in the field. Some old vintage cars along with some more modern production cars & supercars pretty much rounds out the whole pack.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 48 - Tuned Car FestivalMrSmashboy282022-10-23 | This is part 48 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Next event up is called the Tuned Car Festival. Another 3-race set aimed for cars with extensive tuning. As long as your car's PP doesn't exceed 650 and you have the right kind of tires on, the car you use doesn't actually matter. This event is fun as you'll have a lot of creative ways to get your car as close to the PP limit as possible. This should be about the halfway point for this walkthrough now.Grand Theft Auto 5 - Online Full Garage TourMrSmashboy282022-10-18 | As a car enthusiast, I've collected a lot of cars/bikes on here over the years with about roughly 130 or so total cars/bikes in my collection. And I'm sure I'll collect a few more as time passes. I've used quite a number of them in my online race videos in the past. Hundreds of millions of dollars went into buying, upgrading, and customizing all of them. I figured today I'd do a full garage tour of my entire GTA 5 online car/bike collection. Many garages were needed to store all of these cars and I had to do a bunch of running around just to make my way over to all of them. Thank god for the mark II oppressor to make that easier.Grand Theft Auto 5 - Gunrunning: Full Stock Sale - $1,800,000 (Online Free Roam)MrSmashboy282022-10-13 | I've been doing online racing on this game for years, but outside of that I constantly struggled to make money in online free roam. I've had some things like a bunker, nightclub, arcade, hangar, auto shop, and motorcycle clubhouse for quite a while, which I of course got with shark cards because I struggle to make any kind of income outside of doing races. But me being a near total noob at almost everything other than driving, was too scared to do the set-up missions for all the businesses attached to those properties. But just recently I decided to quit being a pussy and just try to get them over with & hope for the best. Turns out they really weren't that bad at all. Maybe I'm not as much of a noob as I thought I was. So all of those businesses are now up & running, and I have all kinds of ways of making money now as long as I keep up with everything. Which is a little time consuming considering I have to go back & forth across the map constantly, but with the mark II oppressor it's not that bad. Of all my money-making businesses now operational, my bunker is easily my most profitable with it’s gunrunning business.
You have to keep up on resupplying it every now & then but once the stock’s full, you can sell it all for a massive payout. My business wasn’t fully upgraded at the time which I think affected the value of my stock. Of course I was able to address that after making this sale. But nonetheless you have the option to sell it locally or sell it to a buyer further away which makes the delivery mission harder & more time consuming but gives a larger payout. In this case with my bunker in Blaine County at the far north end of the map. I could sell it locally for $1.2 million, or sell it over in Los Santos for $1.8 million. Obviously I went with that, but when you have lots of inventory like this, you’ll need some help to ensure it all gets delivered within the time limit. My cousin and I still play this game together constantly so of course I have that covered. So with our monster semis with giant wedges attached to plow anything in our way aside, he helped me achieve my massive $1.8 million payout yesterday. I just wish he would’ve got more for his role as he only got $56,000 for it. This is the largest single cash payout I've ever gotten on here without just buying a shark card. Really I only posted this because I was just proud of my achievement.Gran Turismo 7 - Custom 20 Car Race At Special Stage Route X #17MrSmashboy282022-10-11 | This is probably the longest I've gone in between getting these races up since I started doing this roughly 5 months ago, but it's been close to 3 weeks since the last one and finally, I've acquired another 20 cars to finally get episode 17 of our half-hour speed wars up. Honestly it'll be a miracle if the next one comes out before the end of the month. It's another race where it starts off in the morning and with x30 time progression in effect, finishes at night. This race has a bit of everything. It's still mostly Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars but there's also a few VGT cars, even a few Le Mans cars, and 2 of the 3 cars added in the recent 1.23 update. The Nissan S14 Silvia and the Volkswagen ID.R, along with some old vintage cars.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 47 - Supercar FestivalMrSmashboy282022-10-11 | This is part 47 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Finally getting back to the main events again, next up is called the Supercar Festival. Supercars are of course the theme here and for the most part, the 3 tracks being run here are all high-speed courses, including the world famous Le Mans track. The speeds that can be reached are going to be quite high in this one.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 46 - One Make Races (International B)MrSmashboy282022-10-11 | This is part 46 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Before we go back to the main career events, we're gonna do a new bonus event type we've never done before up to this point, one make races. Races strictly limited to cars of one make from one manufacturer. These have been available to do since the National B class, but I've never had the necessary cars to do these until just now so we're gonna get these out of the way for this class & in the future, we'll come back to the ones from previous event classes we skipped over once we have the cars required for those events. These types of events are usually very competitive due to the tight regulations with what car models can enter. The only wiggle room really being different year models for the car in question being allowed entry. For this class we have 2 races to do strictly limited to the Lotus Elise and Chevrolet Corvette.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 45 - Coffee Break Challenge (International B)MrSmashboy282022-10-11 | This is part 45 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. With the mission races out of the way, next up as always is the coffee break challenges. 2 more interesting challenges including another eco-challenge where this time you have to run a lap around Suzuka Circuit with just one liter of fuel while also beating the gold target time of 3:15, meaning you have to pace carefully to both beat the clock & not run out before then. Then another cone challenge where you have to knock over all 120 cones in the gold target time of 33 seconds. Both challenges are actually very easy as long as you don't overdo it.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 44 - Mission Races (International B)MrSmashboy282022-10-11 | This is part 44 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Taking a break from the main events for now, next up is the mission races for this class. 4 more sector time trials followed by a 2-lap time trial for the 5th and final one as always.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 43 - Tour Of AmericaMrSmashboy282022-10-01 | This is part 43 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. We've done the Tour Of Japan and Tour Of Europe, now we have the Tour Of America. Obviously another 3 races, set on American tracks and exclusive to American cars.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 42 - Tour Of EuropeMrSmashboy282022-10-01 | This is part 42 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Did the Tour of Japan last event, next up now is the Tour of Europe. Another 3 races, this time exclusive to European cars & tracks.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 41 - Tour Of JapanMrSmashboy282022-10-01 | This is part 41 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. For our first event in the International B class, it's the Tour Of Japan. 3 races exclusive to Japanese cars on Japanese tracks. A fun event overall as Japan really does have some of the coolest tracks out there, and cars too of course. There's 141 stars to be earned in this event class, slightly more than the national A class but this of course won't be a problem.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 40 - International B License TestsMrSmashboy282022-10-01 | This is part 40 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. With all the events for the National A class done, all the ones that we're able to do at the moment anyway, it's time to get our International B license so we can move on to the second half of the game and start working on the IB events.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 39 - GT National ChampionshipMrSmashboy282022-10-01 | This is part 39 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. The last event for the A class and it's a big one, the 5-race tournament that is the GT National Championship. Unlike with the Novice and B class events, we did end up skipping over a few A class events along the way as there's some events I just simply don't have the proper car for at the moment. We'll obviously come back to them at a later time. We'll have earned 114 of the 132 total stars in this class after this event. This is our first 5-race event in career mode thus far, hence why the video is so long, and it really shows just how far we're starting to get in the game now. They all take place on a series of technical tracks, mostly real-world tracks. Consistency is as important as it's ever been thus far. After this event we'll move on to the International B license tests where after getting our license there, we'll move on to the IB events where things will start getting very serious.Gran Turismo 7 - Custom 20 Car Race At Special Stage Route X #16MrSmashboy282022-09-22 | It took a long while but finally episode 16 of our half-hour speed wars is here. And for the first time in probably awhile, all 20 cars featured are actually new cars I've never used before until now. The majority of them are Gr.2, Gr.3, and Gr.4 class race cars as those are relatively affordable given my current method of making money on here. Although I've nearly got all the ones I want now and will eventually have to turn my attention to the Vision Gran Turismo cars I want to get which will cost a million a piece, more than double what a Gr.4 and Gr.3 race car costs combined. So even though it took over 2 weeks to get this video out, the next one may not come out for even longer. This race takes place at sunset which actually looked a lot cooler than I thought it would.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 38 - Classic Muscle Car SeriesMrSmashboy282022-09-22 | This is part 38 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Next up is the Classic Muscle Car Series, an event for American made cars from 1980 or earlier. Atleast 2 of the 3 tracks are American as well. This is the penultimate event for the National A class as the next event is the big finale for this class before we get our IB license and move on to the International B events where things will really start getting serious in the second half of the career events.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 37 - Schwarzwald LeagueMrSmashboy282022-09-22 | This is part 37 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Next event is called the Schwarzwald League, exclusive to just German cars. Atleast 2 of the 3 tracks featured are European to no surprise.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 36 - European Hot Hatch SeriesMrSmashboy282022-09-15 | This is part 36 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Next event up is called the European Hot Hatch Series. A 3-race set aimed at Hot Hatches, a popular type of car in Europe. Smaller cars that are better suited for the smaller European roads. All 3 races are of course set on European tracks.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 35 - Festival ItaliaMrSmashboy282022-09-14 | This is part 35 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Next up on the event calendar is an event called Festival Italia. 3 races exclusive to just Italian made cars. Home to some of the most notorious super car manufacturers on the planet like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani. And of course all 3 races take place on Italian tracks as well.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 34 - 4WD ChallengeMrSmashboy282022-09-14 | This is part 34 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Did the MR challenge last part & finally to wrap up the different drivetrain related events we now have the 4WD challenge. Another 3-race set restricted to cars with 4-wheel drive. A term almost everyone knows even if you're not a racing enthusiast. Cars with these configurations use all 4 wheels as drive wheels which gives them an inherent traction advantage no matter the terrain making them extremely stable. As a result, rally cars and pretty much any car built for off-road driving uses 4-wheel drive. These cars also have the unique trait of getting to benefit from the use of a torque distributor which allows the torque a car generates to be distributed between the car's front/rear tires to create handling characteristics that mimic other types of cars. Such as shifting the majority of torque to the front tires to make it handle like an FF car or shifting it more to the rear tires to make it handle like an FR car. The only downside to 4WD cars is they have somewhat of a reputation as generally being heavier cars.Gran Turismo 6 - Career Mode Walkthrough Part 33 - MR ChallengeMrSmashboy282022-09-14 | This is part 33 of my GT6 career mode playthrough. Back in the B class events we did the FF & FR challenge events. The A class is now bringing those event types back with the MR challenge here. 3 more races restricted to cars with MR drivetrains, meaning mid-engine, rear-wheel drive. Cars with these configurations are among the most difficult to drive, even more so than FR cars, especially ones with high power outputs like many supercars do. The engine being placed in the middle, usually just behind the driver seat, improves the car's weight distribution which makes them some of the best handling cars out there if you can master these types of cars. Many Le Mans prototype race cars, especially beloved ones from decades past use this configuration & have had great success.Gran Turismo 7 - Custom 20 Car Race At Special Stage Route X #15MrSmashboy282022-09-06 | Well it didn't take very long at all this time but after just 10 days, episode 15 of our half-hour speed wars is already here. It only arrived so quickly though since for the most part, instead of grinding money to buy & tune up more cars, that money went to just tuning up a bunch of cars I've already had for months but never did anything with them. Mainly because I just didn't like them. But at the same time despite how much the community has begged Polyphony to add this, they still haven't & probably never will add the ability to sell cars on this game. You can "discard" a car if it's a duplicate of one you already own but that's it. You don't get money out of it and if it's not a duplicate car then Polyphony just straight up won't let you get rid of it for some reason. It's one of the absolute stupidest things about this game. Considering you could sell & get rid of whatever you wanted in basically every GT game before. So I figured if I can't sell these cars, I may as well do something with them & atleast try to transform them into something I'll like. Kind of glad I did actually as I'm pretty happy with the way they all turned out.
Of the 20 cars in this race, 15 of them are cars that I've transformed after sitting in my garage collecting dust for months. Only 1 car in this race is a repeat from an earlier race. That being the 300ZX I'm driving as it's now finally gotten the R35 GT-R engine swap treatment. It was already a beast before the swap with it's top speed in the 260s, but after the swap it's top speed was boosted up into the 280s. It's another bright, cloudy morning for today's race. As far as the pace of getting these races out goes, this was just a one off as by this point, I only have 5 cars left that have been sitting in my garage for ages that I can work on, then I gotta go back to buying more cars again. So don't expect the next race to come as quickly as this one did.Tokyo Xtreme Racer Gameplay With Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 SoundtrackMrSmashboy282022-08-30 | This video was seriously way overdue. I did the other 2 for the TXR2 and TXR0 soundtracks back in 2020. I should've had this one up atleast before the end of the year, but obviously that never happened. Instead it's taken me till past halfway into 2022, almost 2 years later to finally get around to working on the TXR3 sequel. Finally got around to doing most of the work early in the month but struggled for ages to find Banshee to get the clip I needed from him to finish this, otherwise this would've been up several weeks ago. But nonetheless, here it is finally, TXR gameplay with TXR3 soundtrack. Now with this done I can finally move on to doing this for other TXR games in the franchise which I'm really excited for.
