So, the first Magatama was pretty hard to deal with because of its high HP, pretty good defenses and ramping SPD, then the second Magatama became even harder due to even higher defenses and a full heal plus maxed out DEF/MND buffs at half HP. So how to make the third Magatama show up the first two even more?
Adding in 5% regeneration per turn would do the trick pretty well.
So yeah, that's pretty much the third Magatama in a nutshell. It has 256k defenses on both sides, and no HVY/SIL vulnerability to lower them with. It did retain the original set of elemental properties so you can still hit its weakness with DRK attacks, but trying to, say, chip it down with Rumia is no longer a tactic because it'll just repair all the damage you do.
This fight is basically half the reason why I squeezed Yuyuko into this squad despite wanting to focus mostly on high evasion characters otherwise - I needed someone who can deal effective dark damage to kill this thing at a decent timeframe. By supercharging her library levels, She could damage this thing pretty well and not have to worry so much about the regeneration, which is important because without the supercharging she would've been dealing even less damage than Rumia even on max buffs and debuffs. Supercharging some good DRK attacker's library levels is basically the best way one has to be able to defeat the ver3 Mirror and Magatama battles, so be thankful that there's no more game-mandated hard mode restrictions here.
