...So here's a totally new idea for #toptipsontuesdays this week. It's an idea given to me by @arsgarnyam from thd UK & basically the pointed part of the spindle becomes the pressure brace & seats in a divot carved in the end of the spindle.
.
...It felt a bit unstable at first but I could feel there was very little friction & after a few more attempts later I managed to lock it into my shin better & get it running smoothly.

... Bran from @arsgarnyam described it as being less wearing because it runs in line instead of T shaped & it also prevents you from putting too much pressure on the spindle as well & once you get use to locking it into your shin it seems to run really smoothly

...Anyone else ever come across this technique before ? ...& What would be a good name for it ?
