Let's review each episode of the cult classic Viva Pinata TV series based on the hit game in (mostly)under 90 seconds!

Hudson's Better Half is the sexism episode. Still another competition is coming up on pinata island, and the gang are ready to win the giant stack of candy. Only for their Rule 63 variants to arrive and declare they're going to win. But, ewww, they have cooties, and Hudson can't have cooties infecting their candy, so the men get ready to annihilate their x chromosone competition! As they all sing about being men! Which, yeah, in another new quirk for the show, a good chunk of Season Two's segments have been musicals. In fact, this is the THIRD episode in a row to have at least one segment with a song number. A weird but fascinating direction to go for the show's last few hurrahs. Anyway, like I said, it's the boys versus girls plot, where the genders compete to prove they're the superior sex! Which also end up some of the worst episodes for the shows that implent this plot! But, like the previous stalker-themed segment, they're obviously not taking it seriously, and instead want to focus on actual jokes. Like how we get the traditional being launched into the air by a landmine that's strangely common in cartoons. But this one includes Hudson starting a video conference while flying through the air! That is absolute genius! We also get the return of Hayley Horstachio, this time in her Beauty and the Beasts model, and I've given up trying to interpret the continuity. She's joined by Florence Fizzlybear in her first speaking role after 45 episodes, plus Fergy's mother Francine, and Paulie's female equivalent Petunia. Who, like Hayley, the show treats as if she's always been here, despite this being her first proper introduction besides background appearances. But maybe the show expects us to know her from somewhere else, as this segment is technically an adaptation of ANOTHER video game! The Viva Pinata spinoff Party Animals, which, unlike the main series, is a minigame competition slash kart racer, and a direct tie-in with the show, having Hudson, Fergy, Paulie, and Franklin as contestants, as well as Florence, Francine, Hayley, and Petunia, the latter two being introduced in the game. So there you go. Just go play a mediocre Mario Party clone most fans don't like or straight up have never heard of, and you'll understand everything going on in this segment! Or don't, and just enjoy the twist where Hudson says he's letting the women win because he doesn't want to be too hard on them. Which the girls team then turn back around on them, and it becomes a race to LOSE! And I think I'll just stop there, because I don't want to give away how this confusing competition concludes. Despite the reliance on elements from a game nobody remembers or likes, this actually does manage to be its own thing, and is really entertaining to watch. With a lot of humor I'm BAFFLED they managed to get away with!
