Prolific character actor Pablo Schreiber, and Creator of HALO, Kiki Wolfkill sat down for an interview to discuss the first season of HALO, a new show based on the beloved video game franchise. Schreiber plays the iconic 'Master Chief' while Wolfkill serves as Executive Producer on the show.
The Paramount+ Show has a lot to prove as fans of the video game franchise are insanely protective, and want an adaptation that doesn't stray too far from the years of canon the HALO creators have written. Halo is set to follow an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant. Halo will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.
#PabloSchreiber leads an all-star cast as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a towering genetically-engineered supersoldier known as "Spartan-117". , Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes, a seasoned UNSC commander and confidant of Master Chief
, and Jen Taylor as the voice of Cortana. Taylor reprises her role from the Halo video game series. Bokeem Woodbine also stars as Soren-066 with
Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey, a scientist for the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) and creator of the Spartan-II Project.
During the interview, the two discuss what the team had to do to create a cinematic version of the world, comparing it to Game of Thrones, working with Steven Spielberg, and how they stay true to the games.
