It is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, as #Joker has blown audiences away at both the Venice and Toronto International Film festival.
But who would have thought that years ago when they announced a Joker film that has nothing to do with the DCEU, directed by Todd Phillips (the guy who brought us the Hangover trilogy) and played by #JoaquinPhoenix, that suddenly we'd now be talking about this film as a serious Oscar contender?
In my #JokerMovieReview, I go into detail about how separating itself from the DCEU and possibly launching the new 'DC Black' label of films is one of the greatest ideas Warner Brothers and DC has had since casting Michael Keaton as Batman.
