Two legends of the screen, Annette Bening and Bryan Cranston sat down for an interview to discuss their new film JERRY AND MARGE GO LARGE, what it was like to play out this hilarious real life story, and how they built an amazing on screen marriage, and off screen partnership.
Cranston is of course best known for portraying Walter White in the AMC crime drama series BREAKING BAD where his work earned him 6 Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. For many, Cranston was introduced to them through comedies like SEINFELD, or as Hal in the Fox sitcom MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE. He has won two Tonys, and has been nominated for an Academy Award among other accolades.
Bening, who has had an amazing and long last career won the BAFTA Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress for her work in the film AMERICAN BEAUTY. She has also received two Golden Globe Awards for her performances in BEING JULIE and THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT. She was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for MRS. HARRIS, and in 2019, she played the roles of Supreme Intelligence and Mar-Vell / Wendy Lawson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film CAPTAIN MARVEL, which became her highest-grossing release.
#BryanCranston and #AnnetteBening in JERRY AND MARGE GO LARGE play Jerry and Marge Selbee, respectively, a retired couple who discover a loophole in the lottery, and begin to win big. The lighthearted comedy is based on a true story, and an article of the same name.
During the #Interview, Bening ends up interviewing me for the first minute, but then talks about the great partner she had in Cranston, and visa versa. The interview ends with Cranston getting a little saucy, giving a rather unexpected answer to a seemingly innocent but loaded question.
