Widespread, significant severe weather is expected to take place across a broad swath of the eastern half of the US today and tomorrow. Today, SPC has outlined a large Enhanced Risk (level 3/5) from the Great Lakes to the ArkLaTex, within which multiple rounds of severe storms with all hazards are possible. A conditional risk for strong tornadoes exists, centered on the Mississippi/Ohio River confluence. The risk shifts toward the Eastern Seaboard tomorrow; an Enhanced Risk also exists from Virginia to the Gulf Coast states.

On the heels of this system, another, more potent system appears to be on the way by Wednesday. A severe weather outbreak appears possible; I'll have more information on this in a later video.
