A significant severe weather outbreak is expected to begin today from the Midwest into the Southeast. SPC has outlined a Moderate Risk (level 4/5) for today for the threat of intense damaging winds in excess of 80 mph and strong, long-track tornadoes. The threat looks to peak across the Southeast tomorrow, where an outbreak of supercells, possibly harboring strong/violent tornadoes, is likely; SPC has also outlined a Moderate Risk for this threat, as well.
