Our multi-day sequence of significant severe weather continues today across the ArkLaTex region, where SPC has outlined an Enhanced Risk (level 3/5). Supercells are expected to develop along a remnant outflow boundary from morning convection here, posing a risk for mainly large to very large hail and damaging winds, along with a low tornado risk.
A complex setup is apparent for tomorrow (Saturday, April 25); SPC has outlined an Enhanced Risk centered on eastern Oklahoma. Supercells are possible along and north of a warm front, posing mainly a large hail and damaging wind risk, along with a low tornado risk with any storms along/south of the warm front.
Uncertainty remains for Sunday, but the threat has shifted toward Kansas, where all-hazards supercells are possible. Monday still looks to hold the potential to be the most widespread/intense day of this stretch as a negative tilt trough and surface low interact with a very broad, moisture-rich warm sector.
