...It's been a while since I've done a fire roll so seeing as these Siam tulips are flowering at the moment I though I'd take the opportunity to quickly show you the process.

...This flower is not actually a tulip its Latin name is Curcuma Alismatifolia & its a member of the ginger family & most of the flower stalks and growing stems of this family will work in the same way.

...The process is the same, crush the stalks & scrape away the plant matter to reveal the fibres. Just get them as clean as you can then let them dry & your good to go. I added wood ash which helps with the friction but it can be done without though it's tricky to get the grip & keep it compacted which is key.
