...Thought I'd give my original fire brace another spin to compare it to the new one.
This first one isn't as big as the latest one I made & not twisted so much as just bent.

...That's the main criteria for this really a simple C shaped stick will work fine. As it's strong enough to support your upper body weight because your going to need all of it bearing down on this to make it work. The extra downwards pressure compensates for the reduced speed.

...Anyway its just as hard as it ever was but I did get a coal for my #fireitupfriday on the third attempt.
