...This week's #toptipsontuesdays is a simple hack for an improvised bow drill cord.

...Sometimes you might not be carrying any cordage for bow drill & natural materials might not be an option but I guarantee one material that seems to get everywhere & that's plastic bags & there can easily be utilised to make strong durable cordage.

...I twisted this cord up in about ten minutes from plastic bags I found on the roadside but even way out in the wilderness I seem to come across plastic bags that have ether been discarded or have blown there on the wind. Definitely worth considering & in some cases it might be your easiest option.
