Fact: I can't count steps to avoid encounters so we'll need this tewwible GF to do it for us.

Diablos is a dangerous opponent that nonetheless has a quirk we can make use of. He'll attack with strong physical attacks, dealing 130 or so damage and 260 on crits, while also chucking out Gravija which leaves us dangerously exposed to a KO from his physical attack. We also can't risk using our GFs here because the gravity damage will still be for the character's HP, so GFs can easily be killed if he uses Gravija while they charge (and a dead GF gains no AP...)
However, if we draw Demi to Stock and then uses it on Diablos (Draw-Cast doesn't get the same result) then Diablos will not only take some hefty damage but he'll also cast Curaga on the character who hit him with Demi. Strange AI, but there it is. I use Double so we can heal all three party members quickly from Gravija as Demi can be difficult to draw and we're no guaranteed that everyone can get a turn before Diablos attacks after using Gravija.
Other than that, we're pretty much fine. We use Demi until Diablos is very low on HP then hit him with a Double-Spell and presto; a speed-running GF joins the squad.
