Santa Paula, CA was also one of California's earliest pre-Hollywood film capitals and the town was known as the âQueen of the Silver Screenâ for the nearly one-hundred silent films shot there in the early years of the 20th century.
Many television shows and movies have filmed in and around Santa Paula for over 115 years but some of the residents and a certain local business would rather not talk on camera about their dirty little secrets and what twisted deeds they work hard to keep hidden.

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes canât be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
