Mike & Stacey got married in Savannah, GA and then audited the town two days later where we revisited a business that made threats against us the last time we were in town and multiple calls to 911 were made.
Would responding law enforcement recognize and respect our First Amendment rights or would they bring dishonor and shame to themselves and their department?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
