KULT News visited Hot Springs, Arkansas in April, 2024 and were surprised by what we found.
Police were called on us multiple times because some paranoid people didn’t like us aiming our cameras at their cameras.
Would the responding officers honor their oath and recognize and respect our rights or would they disappoint us as so many cops have before them?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
