With police bodycam footage and recordings of no less than FIVE calls to 911, this Santa Fe, NM audit is one of our wildest audits ever!
We encountered some pretty arrongant locals, one of whom was adamant that his business OWNED the public sidewalk.
When police arrived, well, let’s just say the Santa Fe Police didn’t send their best and brightest. But, the big question is, would they violate our rights?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
