Nigel Harris is the chief science advisor for exercise New Zealand, Nigel is also an Associate Professor at the Auckland University of Technology, researching and lecturing applied exercise science for health, in addition to being the Associate Dean Postgraduate Research, Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences. Nigel is also working with CureKids to improve health outcomes of our youth. This discussion will be based on health and fitness within New Zealand, but is likely applicable to other areas.
