Movie Theme Special, part 2 of 4
Scottish-American singer-songwriter, musician, producer, visual artist, and Talking Heads founding member David Byrne composed five pieces for the score of the 1987 film, "The Last Emperor," which included this awesome track that played during the movie's opening credits. Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto and Chinese composer Cong Su also contributed music for the score, and together they won an Academy Award in 1987 for Best Original Score.
