KULT News audited in New Orleans, LA. the day before Mardi Gras where we found a police dispatcher incapable of doing their job and some bank employees who seemed to struggle with telling the truth.
Of course, as always, the cops were called on us but would the responding officer recognize and respect our rights or would they disappoint us as so many have before them?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
