KULT News went into the heart of Los Angeles and found the most reprehensible hive of scum and villainy we have ever encountered. Not only were the cops called on us but we made a rare call to 911 ourselves. The question is, would the responding officers recognize and respect our rights?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
