KULT News audited Cape Girardeau, MO, the hometown of radio personality, Rush Limbaugh, on April 12, 2024, and even ran into Limbaugh’s cousin Jim!
Mr. Limbaugh was annoyed with us but a local weed dispensary was downright hostile and called the cops on us immediately. Would local law enforcement recognize and respect our rights or would they disappoint us as so many law enforcement officers have before?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
