Our plans for camping this year were suddenly changed when Florida closed down all their state campgrounds. Luckily we were able to extend our stay at Edisto Island Live Oaks State Campground. After we arrived, SC closed down their registration system and a week later cancelled any new folks coming in. We were allowed to stay for our full reservation and ended up being the last paying customer. The park staff has been wonderful. We've been enjoying riding our bikes to the Ocean every day and taking long walks. Sue has found a ton of shells. This is a great park and we love the convenience of the BI-LO grocery store. It's very ery having the place to yourselves!
