It was 4th of July Weekend and we drove up to the Warren County Bike Trail that goes into the Village of Lake George. From the northern bike trail parking lot it is only 6 miles to the Lake George Beach. You first pass the Six Flags Great Escape, then Glen Lake, the outlet stores, and King Phillips Campground. Once you get to Expedition Park, it is pretty much down hill into the village of Lake George. The Trail ends at Lake George Battle Field Park. Fort William Henry and the Steamboat Company are right near the beach. You can take cruises on the Minne Ha Ha, Mohican, or the Lac Du Saint Sacrement. We ate lunch at the Lookout Café.
