This clock, someone tried to work on and failed because of the oil they used on the movement. Their oil made everything sticky so nothing would work on this clock. Here I had to take the movement apart all the way, clean the gears and levers and get the clock all back the way it was and running again.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
