This very old Quail Cuckoo Clock just so happens to be a Rail Road Clock because of the wood detail around the outside of the clock. Missing the carved leaf topper and in time, I will try my hand at making one that goes to this clock.
You can tell this clock had fallen off the wall and also been an art project at one time as well. Like I always say, it this clock could only tell the story of what it's life was like until I bought the clock.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challange of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
