Here I finish the clock with getting the hammer and lift arms for the bellows adjusted. I also carved ears for my Deer head and refinished the topper to match the clock color. I figured out the weights needed to make the clock run right as well. I still have on order, a gong and will make the back door when it gets in.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
