Sad to say, but this is the first clock I came across that had so much plastic parts in the function of the dancers along with the plastic cuckoo bird. I hate to think how much people pay for these clocks and not really knowing what they are buying.
Here I show the repair of the clock, the way I had to fix the dancer platform to keep it in place, try to get the cuckoo bird to move up and down and break down the movement for cleaning and re-oiling the movement.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
