This clock I thought was a Japan made wall clock. I did a Google search on my phone and discovered this clock was a higher end clock for it's time. This clock was on the GW Auction sight and nobody was bidding on this clock. I took a liking to this clock and for the price, bought it. How happy I was to learn the real value of this clock.
Here I refinish the case and take the movement all the way apart for a good cleaning. Subscribe and give a nice thumbs up if you liked this video.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
