I asked for help and I got it. This Hebert Herr clock has been messed up for a long while. The uncle passed and the Nephew got the clock. Sentimental Value is what this clock is.
The winder stopped working and had a great suggestion what to look for from a subscriber. Check that out!
I also had a problem with the chain not winding the clock right. It would twist around as you wound the clock and same with the clock running down. Check out those comments that I got on this subject!
This would be nice too have everyone subscribe to those who watch and comment on these video because, who knows, you might get stumped some day.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
