On October 3, 2025. A Deputy from the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence for the report of a possible domestic dispute. When the deputy arrived, he met with a male (Michael) who stated that he was a carnival worker and was staying in a mobile camper van with his girlfriend (Ernestine). Michael then stated that Ernestine got upset and began throwing items out of the camper.
Ernestine then exited the camper and explained that she got upset because some of her belongings were broken. She explained that she has a “temper” and does not like when her stuff breaks. After performing a records check, deputies realized that Ernestine had an active warrant for her arrest. The deputies then approached Ernestine and informed her that she would be receiving a citation for disorderly conduct. Ernestine was then secured her in handcuffs and placed in the back of a squad car. She was transported to the Kewaunee County Jail and booked for the warrant. Ernestine was found guilty for disorderly conduct and required to pay a $150 fine.
